It very much depends on the time of year and the commission type, but Iโll always let you know in the early stages of the process when you can expect to receive your commission. Once started, an embroidery will take up to 14 days, a pencil drawing between 3-12 days, and a watercolour painting 3-5 days.

Please see my Pricing page for info.

Once Iโve received your email, Iโll take a look at the info youโve given me and see if itโs something Iโm able to do. If it is, Iโll email you to let you know approximately when itโll be done by, and ask for any additional info I may need. Once weโre both happy, Iโll send you a 20% invoice to secure your slot, along with a Photoshop mock-up of your commission (if necessary). 1 week prior to our agreed slot, Iโll email you with the final 80% invoice. Once youโve paid this, I can begin!

If youโre in the U.K., a bank transfer is preferred. If youโre overseas, I accept PayPal, but please bear in mind I will add a 5.5% fee in line with PayPalโs fees to both of your invoices. I ask for 20% payment to secure your slot, then 80% when Iโm ready to begin, but I am happy to discuss other payment arrangements if necessary!
The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but if youโre unable to pay the 80% payment 1 week before our agreed start time, you may postpone the project up to 6 months, depending on my availability.

Absolutely! Provided the photos of each person are good quality, I can usually splice them together. Itโs great if youโre able to send a few photos of each person so I can pick the best. Iโll photoshop an image together so you can see how the final portrait will roughly look.

You can either email me directly letting me know what you want, along with your photos, or fill out the contact form. If you fill out the contact form, Iโll ask for the photos after youโve emailed letting me know what is it you want to commission. Please make sure your photos are high quality (particularly for pencil drawings).

Yes! Iโm based in the U.K. but Iโm happy to ship anywhere in the world - please see the shipping prices on the Pricing page. Please bear in mind I am not responsible for any customs charges.

All commissions are packaged securely in sturdy cardboard boxes (embroideries) or envelopes (pencil and watercolours). I also use recycled protective padding inside each embroidery box.
Each commission is send tracked and signed for (where possible) via Royal Mail.

There is a hole in the hoop backing that is created for hanging on a wall, or you can simply tie a piece of string underneath the screw at the top of the hoop. Alternatively (and personally my favourite way to display them) you can just prop them on a shelf!
Please make sure you keep the embroidery out of reach of pets and children, and handle very carefully. The threads can easily get snagged, which could create pulls throughout the work.

If youโve seen me post something on Instagram that isnโt on my website, please just email me and Iโll see if itโs possible! For example, if youโd like an ink sketch, which is not on my pricing page, send me an email letting me know what youโd like drawn and Iโll let you know if I can do it for you.
